What to expect during Reiki
First of all please may I thank you for taking the time to explore the wonderful healing energy that is Reiki.
I will explain the whole process so you can digest all the information before you decide to book your session.
On arrival in the room please remove your shoes and if you are wearing a tie please loosen a little.
You will be asked to lie on the Reiki therapy bed (fully clothed) face up and I will cover you up with a lovely snuggly blanket and just relax. At this point I would like you to set your intention and to be "open to receive". This is a very powerful intention indeed and will ensure that you have given permission for the energy to flow.
Soft music will be playing in the background and the purpose of Reiki is to go to a place of "nothingness" therefore not asleep nor awake but the wonderful peaceful place which is in between.
I place my hands on different areas of the body which are specific points for the best healing.
If you would prefer me not to touch then please tell me beforehand and I will adjust the healing to "hover" instead of touching.
My hands will be hovered above your eyes, then placed on either side of your head. I hover over your throat and for ladies I hover over your chest area. With gentlemen I do touch the chest area as it is perfect for connecting to the heart chakra. Next I touch just above your navel as this is the connection to your solar plexus chakra and this area is very receptive to the Reiki energy. I hover over your lower abdomen and then move down to touch your knees , ankles and feet.
During the Reiki treatment you may find that you may get a sudden urge to laugh or cry, some people are drawn to move their hands or their legs, this is natural and you should just allow this to happen and not be embarrassed in any way. This movement and emotional response is perfect for removing blocked emotions and therefore it is best to let go and let it flow. If at any point you feel a tugging or ache in any area then please mentally give permission for the trapped emotion to leave your body.
My hands will feel hot or cold, tingly or send waves of vibrations through your body. Please close your eyes as colours are often seen within, creating swirls of magical colours which mesmerize you and calm you. Colours can be gold, white, black, blue, yellow, pink, green, red or amber.
You may feel like you are being "nudged" from side to side as the chakras are realigned during the reiki treatment, as the whole purpose is to balance and cleanse.
Toxins are also removed during the Reiki healing leaving your refreshed, feeling "light" and full of positive energy.
The energy is very powerful and I can assure you that you are 100% safe in this healing space.
Just relax, enjoy and experience fabulous reiki at its best.
After the treatment please ensure you drink lots of water and best to avoid alcohol for the next 24 hours.

For 1 1/2 hours reiki (50 mins of Reiki treatment) plus a further time for spiritual guidance and assistance.

If you cannot attend due to ill health then a distant healing connection is possible, the connection is through a picture and your date of birth, payment in advance and the distant healing can be given.
